Perdue offers recreation opportunities for all ages and interests, including bowling, walking, curling, skating, hockey, ball, and camping. The New Horizon Centre for senior citizens is open for games, coffee and visiting.
New Horizons Centre
- located at 704 Avenue L
- The New Horizons is a place for seniors to socialize, play games, engage in social activities and host potluck meals and meetings.
- The centre provides the venue for birthday and farewell parties for seniors and family gatherings and also hosts health clinics.
- The centre is open for coffee and socializing from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. New members are always welcome.
Perdue Recreation Complex
- located at 1124 10th Street
- The four-lane bowling alley hosts an active bowling league
- a walking group meets regularly
- the village library is also housed in the recreation complex
- hall rental is available for special occasions
Curling rink
- located at 1126 10th Street
- curling runs every winter
Skating rink
- located at 1122 10th Street
- skating and hockey run every winter
Ball diamonds
- located behind the Recreation Complex and the skating rink
- rec ball runs yearly in the summer
Golden Links Park campground
- Golden Links Park is located on the west end of Perdue, 2 blocks south of highway 14.
- The park is owned by the village of Perdue and maintained by the Friends of the Community.
- There are 16 electrified sites and numerous non-electrified sites, a sewer dump, a port-a-potty, potable water, picnic tables, a large covered shelter and playground for the kids.
- There are no shower facilities at Golden Links Parks.
- There are also no fire pits on site and open fires are not allowed in the park.
- Camping is on a first come basis with no bookings.
- The first night is free and it is $10.00 for every additional night.
- Payments are to be made to the village of Perdue office at 1103 9th Street.
