The village of Perdue has a population of approximately 400, and is located approximately thirty-five minutes west of Saskatoon on Highway 14 on the way to Biggar.
A grocery store, insurance agency, daycare, post office, credit union, and massage therapists are located in the village. Various home-based businesses and contractors are also available within our community.
We offer a kindergarten to grade twelve public school. This beautiful high-tech institution is a “well organized, well run and effective school with a caring and safe learning environment”. For students wishing to further their education, the University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Polytechnic (Saskatoon campus) are only a short forty-five-minute drive away.
For our younger children, two safe play areas are available, along with a licensed daycare.
The New Horizon Centre for senior citizens is open for games, coffee and visiting. The four-lane bowling alley hosts an active bowling league and a walking group meets regularly at the complex. The village also has a regional library, curling and a brand-new skating rink, and ball diamonds. Rec ball and hockey are also organized during their respective seasons. A campground is located in the northwest part of our village and just west of Perdue is the Perdue Oasis Golf Course.
Homecare nursing and housekeeping services are available to eligible residents.
Perdue is a vibrant community. It boasts a varying landscape and offers a pleasing appearance from any direction. The village has one large implement dealer, two crop input suppliers, and is home to Ezee Wrap.
